I had to let this one rest for a while before it revealed itself to me. The ABV will soften after 15 minutes and on the palate it is also softened compared to the first sip and swish. Fresh floral Agricole with fruits, cane and spicy notes. Lightly bitter from the medicinal notes but very well balanced. The ABV doesn't hit your palate right away, but it'll get to you eventually :-) Great rum and the price to quality is very good.

Nase: Limette, floral, blumig, würzig, schöne Mischung Gaumen: schöne wärme, Schwarztee, eher feucht grasig, würzig, Muskat, nussig, uhh gar nicht gemerkt, dass der 73% hat, ok jetzt merk ich's 😅, super im Ti Punch (+0.5)!

Greedy nose, not aggressive despite the 73.2% on the meter! Sugar cane is clearly present. But also vegetal and lime notes. On the palate, this is real, intense rum. Sugar cane explodes on the palate. It stings the palate with vegetal and citrus notes. It leaves no one indifferent. We love it, but we'll only dip our lips into it very slowly, given the size! The nose brings more pleasure than the mouth for this La Favorite jewel. I have a slight preference for this 2019 vintage over the 2020. But I don't know if it's because it was my first B2C, but I admit I have a slight preference for the Longueteau Genesis. A bit like my B2C madeleine de Proust.

A rum that is surprisingly easy to drink straight for its high alcohol content. Of course, it is incredibly strong and present, but that is to be expected as it is also unaged. Strong floral and mango notes on the nose. There is also a lot of lime on the palate. It also lingers properly.

It's not quite my style of rum, but it was interesting to taste. It was the first time I had un-aged agricole with 70%. Long finish, strong tartness - almonds..and warms up in the belly.
