Fair rating Village'25 Nuremberg. Nice piece that Emilie presented again at the Catawiki stand. A beautiful old Agricole that spreads a nice moisture, both on the nose and on the palate. Really great to be able to taste such great rarities.

#5331 19.05.2025 Running a few samples while listening to some nice EDM. Nose Wood, light floral, spice, faint cherry, faint sugarcane, faint smoke. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, fruits, faint sugarcane, light prunes, cinnamon, sweet, medium spicy. Palate Medium long, medium spicy, wood, fruits, light dried fruit, sweet, oily. Empty glass Cinnamon, light chocolate, light sugarcane, faint leather. German Rum Fest 2024 sample.

Nice to have had such an old treasure in the glass, but also hard to judge under fair conditions. Pleasant sweetness, fruity, light spice notes. Pleasant mouthfeel, but unfortunately thin finish.

Super solid rum from the 40s, you can feel the long barrel aging and a great experience from start to finish, these are the rums that really bring fun and I wish there were more of them at the end of the day.
