An interesting Fiji that seems to come from the hospital. Very medicinal, a little dirty and coated with sweet honey and honeydew melon. A great interplay of aromas, which despite its high percentage seems a little flat. This aroma profile is absolutely outstanding!

Honey-forward Fiji rum with a spicy, slightly fruity nose. Notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and spice combine with a warm, sweet depth. On the palate, a strong profile of honey, wood, caramel, and a bit of herbaceousness shows up. The alcohol is present but well integrated and adds to the structure. The finish is long, slightly dry, and pleasantly spicy. An intense, balanced rum with a nice honey note.

#4551 15.01.2024 Sitting at home relaxing enjoying that my last visits to the hospital for scans etc. came back without any comments so thus far very positive. When this bottle was released the price tag was extremely good compared to what you get. Medium fruity with light roasted wood notes and esters. There is a medicinal touch to the profile but in a good way. The palate is well rounded and oily with some anise in the back. The finish is long with a herbal touch. The empty glass has some licorice, caramel and faint strawberry.

Quite a decent aroma of fruit and nice Fiji esters and chemistry. Taste surprisingly smooth and sweetish, but the technicality is still there. Very nice finish combining vanilla, herbs, chemistry, fruit and lots of other things that make a very drinkable product.

Fiji is my secret favourite terroir. I don't taste it very often, but when I do, I always fall in love. The nose is quite intense with plastic and flowery notes at the beginning (it reminds me of our balcony full of geraniums in the summer). With little aeration sweet sirupy medicine, esters, overripe fruits, light chemicals, honey notes come forth. The taste is rich in esters and chemical/medicinal notes, sweet fruits and honey, but also wood and spices appear here. The is one very fine Fiji, who likes it won't be dissapointed here.
