Aroma visualization from community tastings
Cadenhead's South Pacific FSPD 2003
One member says it smells like it "came from the hospital" — and that's the draw, not the flaw. Fiji funk that leans medicinal and chemical, wrapped in honey, overripe tropical fruit and a little wood. At 60.7% the alcohol stays well integrated rather than hot. The palate turns surprisingly sweet and oily, with herbs and anise on a long finish.
The community says- Distinct Fiji funk
- Honeyed sweetness
- But: Strongly medicinal

How does Cadenhead's South Pacific FSPD 2003 taste?
Aggregated from 26 community reviews.
Medicinal Fiji funk over honey and esters Fiji-terroir fans rate this high and consistently — honey, esters and that medicinal edge win people over. Only real caveat: if medicinal notes put you off, so will this.

#4551 15.01.2024 Sitting at home relaxing enjoying that my last visits to the hospital for scans etc. came back without any comments so thus far very positive. When this bottle was released the price tag was extremely good compared to what you get. Medium fruity with light roasted wood notes and esters. There is a medicinal touch to the profile but in a good way. The palate is well rounded and oily with some anise in the back. The finish is long with a herbal touch. The empty glass has some licorice, caramel and faint strawberry.

An interesting Fiji that seems to come from the hospital. Very medicinal, a little dirty and coated with sweet honey and honeydew melon. A great interplay of aromas, which despite its high percentage seems a little flat. This aroma profile is absolutely outstanding!

Poměrně decentní vůně ovoce a sympatických Fiji esterů a chemie. Chuť překvapivě jemná a nasládlá, ale techničnost tam pořád je. Moc pěkný závěr kombinující vanilku, bylinky, chemii, ovoce a plno dalších věcí, které dávají velmi pitelný produkt.

It tastes too much medical to receive an high score. Besides that, a good and balanced rum
