Great neat at 46.5% and even better poured into a Jungle Bird or a rum-and-cola. This is banana turned up loud — ripe, browning banana on the nose and palate, with burnt sugar, caramel and a streak of classic Worthy Park funk underneath. The mouthfeel runs thick and a touch oily, the finish long. Most agree it's one-note, but that note is a good one.

If you want a run that just tastes like overripe banana, this one does just that: and it’s prettyyy prettyy pretty good. It’s too one-note to be a great sustainable sipper, but I don’t see myself ever having a home bar without this: it’s the perfect bottle to inject banana flavor into a cocktail.

Overripe Bananas all day long! With a slight hint of Prunes and maybe some black licorice. But the over ripe Banana smell and taste reigns king! I tried this Rum in multiple fashions and the Banana would shine through everything! Found it to be an ok Rum when used as a cocktail Rum in a Jungle Bird

#6644 12.04.2026 Enjoying some samples while watching the TV Series "House of David". When looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money and it does pretty well in a cola too. The nose is very fresh and fruity with banana, spice, sugarcane, clove, raisin and light grass. The palate is medium intense with light wood, banana, clove, raisin, light floral and faint cherry. The finish is long and oily with light wood, grass, citrus and dried fruit.

Banana leaps off the page on this one. The nose is a ripe banana that is starting to brown with a bit of a buttery aspect to it. The taste carries the banana but adds in caramel along side some classic Jamaican funk. The finish is medium in length with spice.

Unusual Worthy Park with dark notes of leather and overripe banana with burnt sugar. Basically quite interesting because it's a different Worthy Park. However, a bit one-dimensional and the alcohol is not quite as smoothly integrated.

Just have to say wow. Deep tones with Jamaican funk. Intense but you want to keep going back. A bit higher ABV but you still keep going neat. Overall amazing rum. I'm happy I bought this bottle with my rum journey.

The label in the back says that this rum is blend of light and heavy Jamaican pot still rums from Worthy Park distillery. I bought this as a cocktail rum, but lets see how it tastes like. On the nose: Strange, unlike other who did review this rum, i get clear olive brine notes and light agricole sugarcane notes. Overripe bananas. After sitting in the glass for a while, more musty and earthy notes appear to profile. Taste: Burnt sugar, burnt rubber, funky. Light olive brine notes. Molasses. Light tobacco. Woody notes. Light herbal notes. Mouthfeel is lightly bitter and oily. Finish: Light, musty, light tobacco, light burnt sugar.

On the nose, a bit of fermented fruit with some funk. Also stronger barrel influence. On the palate, not as intense as expected. Has a bit of a Christmas market vibe. So, something roasted with vanilla. Pleasant to drink.

Having only tried Rum Bar Silver from WP, this is my favorite of the two and I think this style complements their profile. Sweet smelling and heavily laden with bananas, this rum makes good cocktails great and is awesome on its own at 46.5%

Very dark for a WP. At first I would have guessed a young Guyana rum. Overall cozy, unfortunately a bit too alcoholic to really convince. For me, not really suitable for drinking neat but rather a rum for mixing.

Tastes complex. Distinct front and backend. Front is alcohol and fruit. Backend is sweet and lingering tastes of caramel/Molasses. Finish is long and pleasant. Overall kinda meh. Good for cocktails.

Wow, different from most rums I've tried. Slightly cachasa like almost. I could smell it before the bartender even put it down in front of me. Treacle like or something, kind of like anise oil. Creme brulee. I get some tire rubber. Burnt caramel. Pours very dark brown. Some sugary booze wraps around your tongue--I find the aroma stronger than the actual drink in mouth. Fun but probably not a rum I'll go back to or buy a bottle of.

A very strong molasses smell and flavor. A little less strong on the burn than the Hamilton Demerara. Last had this in 2019. I suspect my rating would be different today.
