Here a solid Brugal. Smells and tastes rather weak with few notes. Even rather watery. Taste-wise quite solid, but definitely nothing special. I've had better Brugals.

In comparison, there was the Brugal from the German supermarket and the Brugal I got as a gift from a hotel in the Dominican Republic. Basically, they only differ in ABV, as the one from the DomRep has 0.5% less. In a direct comparison, the rum from the vacation still wins (very subjective). Both are more for mixing than for pure enjoyment.
