Had a great Plantation tasting experience yesterday and here is the fourth one of the six we had a go at. Despite the age this rum was a huge surprise. Not only does it have a very pleasant nose, but it's very smooth and warm on the palate. Not a super complex rum but definitely spot on and one of the best if not the best 5 year old I have ever had. Price to quality is very good.

Moving on at home thanks to the new opening hours of the Alte Post :-( Very fruity on the nose, especially pineapple and coconut. On the palate, lots of coconut as well, plus a bit of vanilla and burnt sugar.

Fruity aromatic, mild, tasty as a starter. Starts nicely in aroma and first taste, unfortunately loses in the second part and finish. Still tasty.
