First off, here you get a lot for your money. Secondly, this one has to rest a while or the ABV will bite you. Once rested it has a lovely profile. Intense and well balanced and yet light in all the flavours. The empty glas was amazing after an hour.

On the nose, the ultra-present Bielle markers, resembling the 2008 but with alcohol (is it the vintage that biases me?). On the palate, orange peel, with spices and woody background, all very round (frangipane, pastry). The finish lasts a long time, it’s delicious.

On the nose, I find the rums of Barbados with creamy coconut and vanilla. As it opens up, it becomes more complex, I find liana apple and warm apple compote. On the palate, I find the classic Bielle framework. There are also fresh, almost mentholated notes, returning coconut, salted butter caramel. A little marvel.
