Definitely very sweet this rum, for my taste too sweet. Tastes and smells like honey and otherwise just quite sweet, but in this proof range that's just too much. Mixed definitely top.

08/10/2025: sample from my good friend Stijn. Very, very sweet rum. For me, even to the point that it's unpleasant and undrinkable. The nose is ok with notes of honey and almond, but the palate is just over the top sweet. Some people might like this, but I really don't. Not recommended!

Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: ** Taste: *** Overall: *** Very sweet on the nose with honey, orange and the winebarrel from the ageing. Taste is very, very sweet. Marzipan and honey are the ones I can pick out from all the sweetness. Enjoyable if you like really sweet rums.
