This is a Agricole that plays in the highest division to a very comparable price. It’s extremely elegant, round and complex with aromas and flavors that’s woody, spicy, floral and with sugarcane and vanilla clearly recognizable.

Tonight I'm enjoying this super nice rhum Agricole from Martinique. A very spicy rum which is not as gentle as in the nose. Very complex and a nice change from nose to palate. Lots of tannins, a lot of fruit and a wonderful balance to it all. A perfect symphony in my mind. One side is spicy, dry and complex and the other soft, candied and carried by tropical fruits. A great rum at the price tag. Those French really know their Rhum Agricole.

Pavel Špaček tasting calendar 4 2024. This is a huge delight! 😋 Clear agricole. Shortly after pouring, the glass fills with a cocktail of apple juice and cane juice. After a while, the juice turns more into fresh ripe red apples, something of pear and a light tropical sweetness, the juice remains, and spices, vanilla and wood strongly assert themselves. Usually in agri I like floral tones too, but here I don't miss them at all. The same tones appear in the taste, it's rather "sweeter" from fruit, only the spice doesn't seem so pronounced and the finish shorter considering 42%, but here it's enough for me. Definitely one of the best agri I've tasted 🤩 Awesome! 👏
