Tasting at J. B. Labat and at the GRF. A pronounced oak nose with a herbal and vegetal side, cedar wood and a slight bitterness. The entry on the palate is very soft, then marked by vegetal sides. The finish is a bit watery, diluted but then it lingers long on bitter herbs.

23.11.2025 Found half a sample of this lovely rum while watching "Carnival Row". Gained a few points this time. ----------- With a medium finish what surprised me most about this one was the fruityness when opening the bottle. Very fruity all the way with spices and wood. I like the floral amd marzipan touch.

Great spice on the palate with rather subtle agricole notes and lots of fruit. Creamy, accessible and yet complex on the palate. An agricole with history.

Very nice agricole with typical and balanced notes and decent age. On the nose, I especially like the apple scent. Despite the low ABV, the rum is extremely complex, but more would still be better.

Very nicely balanced, spicy-fruity notes dominate, nice sweetness in the finish. I like it very much. If it had a few more percent, it would probably gain complexity.
