29.03.2014 Whiskymessen Met a few new rum guys that have stuck until this day. We all went back home to pick up some bottles that we shared at the event. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, wood, light roasted, sugarcane, vegetal, light nutts. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, light grass, sugarcane, earthy, tannins, citrus, light nutts. Finish Medium to long, wood, roasted, tannins, citrus, light vegetal.

I really liked this old Bally, despite the low abv it was oily and complex, delivering a lot of taste without any loss in intensity. This rhum is definitely from another era, clearly Bally with all the usual markers of sugarcane and wood
