Wow... FOR 55% by volume, the rhum is quite mild. The nose is quite inviting and makes you want more. The taste reminded me, among other things, of a fruit brandy. The finish is long and brings other flavors to the day. A really good rhum. Can also be drunk very well pure. As Ti Punch🥃echt to recommend.

#4556 19.01.2024 Got a set of samples from a former colleague in Sweden and today I'll give them a go. My tastebuds are still hyper sensitive, which can be both good and bad. This is a rum where the price to quality is extremely good. An Agricole that is fruity and fresh and well rounded. I love the floral touch in the profile. Tha palate is fresh and warm and the finish is long and spicy. Overall a very nice and well rounded Agricole that is medium dry. The empty glass has some mint to it.

One of the best agricole rhum, really smooth despite its abv and make good daiquiri half neisson half plantation 3*. One of the last familly-owned distillery in Martinique, definitely worth stocking in your bar ! Taste: sugar cane, lime, honey & citrusy, really light despite high abv

Bought this Rhum Neisson Blanc 55 some months ago on my way home from Spain. The distillery has been operational since 1931 and they produce their AOC rhums from sugar cane from their own fields. The harvest takes place between late February and June and it’s during this period the Blanc 55 is produced from 5 different sugar canes, which probably gives it some complexity. Before bottled it has rested in stainless steel vats for 6 months. Overall a great premium Agricole Blanc that works well neat as well in an Ti Punch.

First Agricole and was not a disappointment. Absolutely love this (and ran through the bottle). Might be a close second to Labat 59 and ahead of JM.

Quite an expressive nose of cane, not very fat. Splendid mouthfeel, with the beginnings of a ti punch, even though I didn't add anything. Can be drunk dry without any problem and stands on its own. Alcohol very well integrated. With a peppery finish and a touch of green. Some rather volatile earthy and bitter facets on the palate, which I like because they add a touch of complexity and are not too present.

Neisson is Martinique's benchmark agricultural rum. Its fruity taste and strength make it a must-have for ti-punches. Its value for money is almost unbeatable for a white rum.

Parfait en tipunch ou pour des Daiquiri un peu costauds, pas fantastique mais une quille à toujours avoir dans le coin du bar tellement il est chaleureux et polyvalent.
