#7275 11.09.2026 Relaxing after a good week and also preparing for tomorrows 20 km speedhike (at least for me) in Middelfart. Listening to some cool Goa Trance on Spotify while packing and readying my gear. Very nice Caroni and it had a nice price tag at release. Well balanced release with fruits, caramel, rubber, fuel, floral, tar, nutts, sice, olive, salt and a spicy finish.

Caroni without a doubt and not a bad one. But overall there is a lack of harmony that unites the flavors.

The caroni markers are not very present. The rum needs to be allowed to breathe for these aromas to express themselves more fully. Barrel aromas dominate, with the presence of fruit, but more from the orchard. The texture lacks a little thickness. For me, a good rum, but one that some will surely consider too "light" for a caroni.
