Most helpful positive review
Compared to the Berry Bros Versailles 1985 22 years, the profile is very similar. This one is maybe a bit less woody and a bit more herbal, which I like a little less. I’m tasting it again today, my tastes may have evolved a bit but I find it much more to my liking. The indulgence of chocolate is well balanced by the freshness of the grass. So I’m raising its rating.

... Enmore - drive distillery, now just a functional distillation device. Probably the only wooden distillation device in the world that enjoys great popularity. Enmore rums have flavors of ash, leather, heavy wood, which especially excite lovers of smoky whiskies. And if the producer adds a bit of molasses to the rum in the traditional Guyanese way, you have a unique, very strong and heavy rum in the bottle. One of my favorites.

14.04.2012 First visit to the Whisky.dk event after returning to Denmark after first living 3 years in Upplands Väsby, Sweden and then 7 years in Shanghai, China. Got back together with old friends to have a nice weekend. Notes. Light in colour. Nose: wood, roasted, orange, raisin, vegetal. Palate: light, wood, oily, orange, licorice, anise. Finish: medium to long, wood, licorice, raisin, herbs.
