18-07-2026 - Rate 8.3 Tasted this abomination many years ago and did not like it. My mate god a hold of a sample and we tried it again now years later. I’m more appreciated of it now, but it’s still wild and not like anything I have ever tasted.

#4450 04.11.2023 preparing a tasting for next weekend for a group of 4. All rums are in the "war" spectrum 😂 This rum is a really bad one. Wow, the wood was on fire when they put the rum in the barrel. Wood and roasted/burnt notes are dominant and taking over. Even the finish is kind of bad and there is no balance to be found. Even after long resting it doesn't open up. Tried with some water as well to no avail. Happy I didn't buy one back then.

What should I report, an alleged 93 Caroni that somehow doesn't come across as Caroni, a mixture of chamomile tea fermented with soy... I don't like it at all. I'm sorry. Ash remains in the finish.
