Smell: First impression: Intense vanilla towards a Christmas vanilla crescent cookie. Followed by buttery scents combined with caramel. Taste: First impression: Sweet vanilla lays smoothly and gently on the tongue. You don’t taste the 40% alcohol. Very smooth, gentle and creamy. It also shows intense, almost artificial vanilla combined with caramel and buttery notes reminiscent of vanilla crescent cookies. Finish: Short, sweet, vanilla A pleasant rum with a good price-performance ratio for beginners or also as a dessert.

A very good sweet rum. On the nose an appealing scent of fruit and chocolate. On the palate caramel, toffee and exotic fruits. For me, it is on the same level as the 15-year-old but a bit woodier. A good choice for beginners and sweet rum fans.

I am a little surprised about the so far only very average rating.For me a really good rum.I like the smell of leather, but also recognize some coffee, but am also convinced of the round taste.One of my favorite rums.

Much warmer and smoother than the 10yo version. Pleasantly drinkable. Warm caramel, fragrant, vanilla. Alcohol tail, but sweet, pleasant and persistent. Very nice drinking.

Smells very strongly flavored, then surprises with a somewhat milder taste profile which doesn't seem as sweet on the palate as the nose suggests. For me more a 30€ rum, but drinkable.
