One taster calls it "simple et efficace," and that fits: fresh sugarcane and citrus from young Neisson agricole, rounded out by a wood-aged layer of vanilla and crème brûlée. Several members note more spice and a light smoky, grilled edge than the Profil 105, with pepper that stays vivid. At 52.8% it runs warm, and the fruit turns a little indistinct on the finish.

Nice mix between the still very present sugarcane and the woody, spicy notes. A typical Martinique profile. The nose and palate are quite similar, with notes of cane, wood and vanilla. The pepper is lively and spicy. Pleasant tasting. It's really nice and evolving for an ESB.

A very different rum from its Profil 105 counterpart. Much more focused on spices and grilled and burnt notes, this rum shows more sweetness both in the nose and in the mouth, with slightly spicy pastry notes. If the woodiness remains present, the fruits are on the other hand more discreet. The finish is long but does not reveal new aromas. This Neisson is slightly inferior to the Profile 105.

28.03.2022 Sampling a bit at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Faint wood, sugarcane, cinnamon, spice, light chocolate, faint nutts, light citrus. Palate Light wood, balanced, fresh, medium dry, Agricole, faint coconut, light nutts, light citrus. Finish Medium long, wood, light tannins, Agricole, light lemon, faint chocolate.

A clearly different profile than the 105. Woodier, with many more spices and a slightly smoky undertone that adds extra tension, this Neisson can score points. The slightly alcoholic fruit brandy note with the indefinable fruitiness in the finish is forgiven.

A nice surprise. Might seem a bit expensive for such a young rum but on tasting it justifies its price. A pure juice of good quality. Edit: after a second tasting under different conditions I lower my rating by 0.1... this rum was much better accompanied by country ham and salted chips.

dark banana bread on the nose... in the taste then come clearly barrel notes, bitter tannins but also again banana toffee with toasted coconut chips to it. like me very much!

Very intense, overwhelming aroma. Just that alone was worth the experience. The taste is a bit too strong for me neat, but good to drink on ice. The somewhat sharp finish is also much better with ice.

Great product with an excellent Quality/Price ratio. You find the finesse of Neisson's white agricole, with a bit of citrus and that beautiful fresh cane. The aging in profile 107 brings a lot of roundness and indulgence, with vanilla and even crème brûlée.

Color: yellow gold Nose: Fruity, fresh and young with pineapple, banana, melon and lychee juice. Also green and grassy like plant sap. Taste: Alcoholic, yet fresh in the mouth. When swallowing, alcoholic, spritzy and spicy. Also vegetal, with herbs and subtly fruity. Finish: Medium length Spicy, alcoholic and sharp. Slightly bitter and medicinal. 80 points
