One taster calls it "simple et efficace," and that fits: fresh sugarcane and citrus from young Neisson agricole, rounded out by a wood-aged layer of vanilla and crème brûlée. A very different rum from its Profil 105 counterpart. Much more focused on spices and grilled and burnt notes, this rum shows more sweetness both in the nose and in the mouth, with slightly spicy pastry notes. If the woodiness remains present, the fruits are on the other hand more discreet. The finish is long but does not reveal new aromas. This Neisson is slightly inferior to the Profile 105.

Farbe: Gelbgold Geruch: Fruchtig, frisch und jung nach Ananas, Banane, Melone und Litschi-Saft. Zudem grün und grasig nach Pflanzensaft. Geschmack: Alkoholisch, dabei frisch im Mund. Beim Schlucken alkoholisch sprittig und würzig. Zudem pflanzlich, nach Kräutern und dezent fruchtig. Abgang: Mittellang Würzig, alkoholisch und scharf. Leicht bitter und medizinisch. 80 Punkte

28.03.2022 Sampling a bit at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Faint wood, sugarcane, cinnamon, spice, light chocolate, faint nutts, light citrus. Palate Light wood, balanced, fresh, medium dry, Agricole, faint coconut, light nutts, light citrus. Finish Medium long, wood, light tannins, Agricole, light lemon, faint chocolate.

A very pleasant rum. An accessible Martinique rum for new palates. It would suit very well to people used to Hispanic rums.

Une belle surprise. Peut paraitre un peu cher pour un rhum aussi jeune mais à la dégustation il justifie son prix. Un pur jus de belle qualité. Edit : après une seconde dégustation dans d'autre conditions je revois ma note à la baisse de 0,1....ce rhum était bien meilleur accompagné de jambon de campagne et de chips salées

Nice mix between the still very present sugarcane and the woody, spicy notes. A typical Martinique profile. The nose and palate are quite similar, with notes of cane, wood and vanilla. The pepper is lively and spicy. Pleasant tasting. It's really nice and evolving for an ESB.

Ein deutlich anderes Profil als der 105. Holziger, mit viel mehr Gewürzen und einem leicht rauchigen Unterton, der für zusätzliche Spannung sorgt, versehen kann dieser Neisson punkten. Die leicht alkoholische Obstlernote mit der undefinierbaren Fruchtigkeit im Abgang sei ihm dabei verziehen.

Super produit avec un rapport Qualité/Prix excellent. On retrouve la finesse du blanc agricole de Neisson, avec un peu d’agrumes et cette belle canna fraîche. Le vieillissement en profil 107 apporte beaucoup de rondeur et de gourmandise, avec de la vanille et même de la crème brûlée.

dark banana bread on the nose... in the taste then come clearly barrel notes, bitter tannins but also again banana toffee with toasted coconut chips to it. like me very much!
