Sipped neat it splits people down the middle. The nose promises sweet coconut, vanilla and orange, but the palate turns woody, spicy and cinnamon-heavy with a noticeable alcohol bite that isn't always well tucked in. One taster nailed the aroma as "like a f##n yankee candle." A few find it tastes sweetened, with a sugary burn on the finish some really dislike.

Not the best rum. Quite sweet and very alcoholic. The taste lingers on the palate for quite a long time. You can taste a hint of chocolate, but otherwise it's almost all sweetness and alcohol. Doesn't get me.

Uninteresting vanilla sugar scent with a pinch of cinnamon. Taste-wise also uninteresting. Dried fruit and at the end a bit of citrus note, which finally develops into an unpleasant sugary caramel aftertaste. This doesn't suit me at all. Edit: finished the sample and downgraded.

Smells and tastes very cinnamony, which I like, but at some point it could get on my nerves if I had a whole bottle. The wood is also quite dominant, already turning bitter. Not too sweet

On the nose initially quite alcoholic and biting, slight wood notes, on the second glass not so sharp anymore, even very slight fruity and spicy notes detectable. Taste-wise also a clear alcoholic sharpness, but just still within a pleasant range. Wood notes with a slight spiciness come through. Overall just average, not a must-have, but I got it quite cheap for about 20 euros on vacation and it reminds me of a nice time. Honestly, I wouldn't want to spend more for it.

Interesting with sweet 👃 including coconut, orange, fruits, bit of spices, orange peel. 👅 includes a lot of spices, black pepper, cinnamon, again orange peel with bitter aftertaste that is medium long. Not bad as it is very interesting spicy and not overly sweet rum. One could guess it will be more sweet due to it's 👃 but it is rather woody, bitter and spicy with a bit of fruity sweetness. Add: Cardamom after a burp :P sort of A.H.Riise taste at the very distant end.

After resting because initially too many esters, the nose is very pleasant, fresh and rich. Dominant notes of orange, caramel, vanilla. On the palate it is flatter and thinner, sweet molasses, a bit of vanilla, very short length. So not very interesting but pleasant. At the price of 30€ it’s a nice bottle interesting on the nose and easy to drink, so yes to please non-experts.

Sample no.4 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2022. Coconut, pineapple and dried fruits fills the nose. A pleasant sweet aroma. Palate continues with the same as the nose with the same notes of coconut and pineapple with some wood from the barrels and with a little bite. Overall a nice rum for sipping!

The rum has a pleasant smell I couldn´t distinguish. It reminds me butter with nesquik and cinnamon. Very original. The taste is sweet with cinnamon, but boring and weak. There is definitely some sugar in it (not much).

Whatever is used to sweeten this, is way too much. There is a sugary burn in the aftertaste I really dislike. The coconut is so intense, that I have doubts of it origins. Nobody should want this. I fyou want coconut there are far better options
