Cihuatán 12 Years
The "12 years" on the label points to age, but this drinks younger and simpler than that suggests. Expect creme brulee, milk chocolate, vanilla and a little tropical fruit, all on a light body. A few tasters catch a whiff of alcohol or something faintly medicinal up front, and the finish fades fast. Easygoing and sweet rather than deep.

Sweet, chocolatey and easy, short finish Sweet, chocolatey and light, with a short finish. Fine as an easy first sipper, but several members found "not much character beyond that" and wanted more depth.

Belle couleur claire et nez très exotique sur la sucrosité, très plaisant au nez. Bouche extrêmement légère, que le fruit jaune, touches exotiques. Finale courte sur le sucre

Can’t recommend this rum! It’s produced in a multi column still and I believe the average age of this Solera rum is quite few years. The aroma is very alcoholic. The flavors on the other hand is quite sweet with flavors of vanilla and caramel. The finish is very short.
