Well, you can do that, but you don't have to. Typical Sancti Spíritus notes, i.e. light fruits such as pear and apple, but not very concise. Alcohol is well integrated, which is no great feat at 46%. The '98 vintage in particular could do with a little more oomph. Easy sipper.

Nice Cuban! Beautiful yellow fruits, flavor profile reminds me a bit of a diluted Galion. Quite nice!

From the aroma I would have assigned the rum rather direction Jamaica. Unusually fruity and estrig notes. Beautiful drinking strength.
