Another very nice rum from this bottler. Woody and fruity from nose to finish. I really like the freshness and nutty and vanilla notes. An intense yet well balanced rum with a surprising finish of lightly smoked wood.

Un beau nez mais une bouche qui manque de peps, de caractère et de longueur. C'est élégant et doux, la dégustation est agréable mais ça n'est pas incroyable non plus.

The nose is rather light but very pleasant. There are lovely citrus and anise notes typical of the distillery. A light vanilla woodiness and a surprising hint of smoke join the dance after a little rest. The nose is rather progressive and pleasant to discover. On the palate, the alcohol is fairly well integrated, and the fruit (mango and orange) is round and soft. But the woodiness is much more present than the nose suggested. It's almost toasted woodiness. The finish is rather short, too dry, with toasty-spicy notes.
