#6633 10.04.2026 Enjoying a few samples after work while listening to some nice tracks by Ovnimoon and Liquid Soul on Spotify. This is a release far below normal par for Dictador. The nose is light and sweet with vanilla, raisin, coffee, light honey and cinnamon. The palate is light and has light roasted wood, dried fruit, coffee, caramel, cinnamon and orange. The finishi is light and short with light wood, orange and light caramel.

A rather average rum. Licorice, coffee, tobacco, cocoa, and a bit of wood create an interesting profile, but on the palate it feels comparatively thin and somewhat alcoholic despite the 40%. Since it offers little depth or complexity, it's more interesting for newcomers.

There are definitely much better rums, but I can't understand how it's made out to be so bad here. Solid average stuff. Every rum beginner will love it. That's just how it is, it can't do more.
