I can't cope with it, very artificial in taste. Very dominant orange-like note, some vanilla, some wood. there are much better ones on the market Quickly fill something else into the glass.

6,3:On the nose, the opening is with a candied orange peel.It is reminiscent to confectionery, with a sweetness and a caramel, vanilla and bubblegum, bakingspices. On aeration some baked sugar pops up, marshmallows, some wood, a hint of solvents, almonds. 6:On the palate, the orange flavours and caramel are attacking us in combination, with wood notes like an almond, then confectionery shows, sugar notes, baking spices, there is some toasted coconut. 5,8:The finish is soft, quite short and fruity, some sweetness remains...

#5740 29.09.2025 Day three of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. This is also a very sweet rum with light wood. The sweetness is supported by some caramel, orange and a annoying perfume note that I don't like.

Not necessarily much worse than the 12 year old. It has vanilla and caramel on the nose and palate. It also tastes relatively sweet. But within limits. Hardly any difference to the 12 year old.

A spicy rum, good as a gourmet digestif or aperitif. The nose is very pastry-like, with citrus, vanilla and spice notes. The palate is syrupy, almost thick, with notes of citrus and spice. The finish is in keeping with the theme. It will appeal to all those who like the Don Papa style, without the over-sweetness but with more spice. For the same price, I'd go for a Bumbu. A very pleasant thing is to let its aromas evaporate in the room, a smell of cookie will emerge, I like it a lot. I'll gladly leave my share to the demons. 😈

For me a very special rum (in a positive sense). On the nose very sweet and fruity, with a very unique character. In the mouth it tastes totally different. I can't really describe it, but I never would have thought rum could taste like this. For me always a pleasure.

Haaaat if you like spicy rums, you won't be disappointed after all, but if you are a real rum lover, this won't be your rum. For me, neither the taste nor the smell is very natural. Smells like vanilla, orange, chewing gum. Luckily not too sweet in taste but all these artificial flavors... if someone likes rum chewing gum, this is their favorite.

A rum to my taste. Similar to a Don Papa but better, though also spicier. The nose has a strong orange presence and also cotton candy. The palate is also led by sweetness and orange, but here the spiciness comes in as well, which stays in the finish and slowly shifts to citrus notes.

Just after pour, I can smell candied fruits, mostly orange. This smell fills the room. It tastes like generic rum with aperol. Really sweet, but not too much. Candied orange and aperol are core taste, a bit of cake/biscuit and some spices show in the background. Finish is short with lasting bitterness. It is a pleasant product, especially if you like sweet rums (don papa baroko or bumbu the original) and orange, but not for me. Too little rum and too many additives

This rum was what got me into rum in December 2025. Back then, I always described the smell as "bubblegum," which is definitely not meant negatively. I still enjoy it just as much today as I did back then, so it will always be part of my collection. My honest opinion is: a bit too sharp and tastes like industrial alcohol, but the aroma and sweetness are still a reason for me to buy it.

I had a small bottle, very long, because it doesn't taste like anything..... pure it tastes like actifed, cough syrup, yuck! But mixed with other rum, lime or lemon juice, some cane sugar syrup, ice and sparkling water it can at least taste like Fanta

Sugar, spices and orange dominate the nose and palate. Finish is medium and very similar to taste expect it leaves some bitter/unpleasant sensation at the end. For the price of 31 EUR a bottle this Rum/Ron is rather lackluster, if you can get it for a discount it could be decent for mixing.
