8,3:On the nose, medicinal with esters, solvents, funky, fermented, overripe tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, lemon peel, yellow fruits, smoky, spicy wood, grassy molasses, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, molasses is vegetal with briny olive, cereal, the wood is toasted with chocolate, pastry, spicy with allspice, some plastic hints join. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is medicinal with esters and glue, fruity with fermented tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, citrus and yellow fruits(mirabelle plum), some dried, molasses is herbaceous, vegetal with briny olive, thick, candied and the wood is toasted with pastry, leather, spicy. 8,3:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, medicinal with esters, oak is toasted with caramel, pastry, spicy with allspice, meaty with bacon, smoky, fruity with tropical and citrus fruits, as molasses is vegetal, briny, herbaceous..

With this Hampden from Sweden, it’s probably a rather low mark. I’d guess OWH or LROK. A little ester and funk are noticeable but not much. Won’t be my favorite since I prefer the high ester Hampden stuff, but still a good bottling.

This is a swedish Hampden, but it is like the same of all Hampden around this World 😀 A lot of fruits, expecially Banana and Ananans, love this one with some Esters, this is really a f*** nice Rum. Love this 🙃

Pleasant low ester Hampden with all typical markers. On the nose it still seems subtly smoky, which fortunately does not continue on the palate. Instead, you taste pleasant pastry paired with a salty note. The finish gets drier and drier. Basically good, but could have handled a few more percent to make the taste more intense.

A nice Hampden, funky, smell of tropical fruits. Made exciting, fruits, some spices. Long start. I generally like Hampdens very much. This one was no disappointment and I really enjoyed it.
