This Diplomatico is not nearly as sweet as the DRE so it’s an easy choice to choose it before the DRE. The spices are soft and appears during the rather short finish.

Ist sogar pur einigermaßen trinkbar. Die Nase ist recht medizinisch und alkoholisch, es sind aber auch Zitrusfrüchte erkennbar. Am Gaumen überwiegend dann die Zitrusfrüchte und es kommt etwas Kokosnuss hinzu. Leider etwas zu alkoholisch.

Very light nose offering complexity. Suggest this would work better in fruit based cocktails due to its sharpness as a mechanism to modify sweetness.

I'm not exactly a fan of white rum. This one doesn't convince me either. The aroma is almost imperceptible, with some spiciness, vanilla and spices on the palate. It is one of the better white rums, but still nothing for pure enjoyment. However, it is well suited for mixing.

Nearly no nose to describe but what is there is delicate and subtle. The taste is complex, sharp and spicy, with an equally spicy hot finish. Pleasant but might be an acquired taste for some.

This is a sweetened dessert rum. It's 'unaged' so I can't complain about wood flavors. But really it doesn't taste like much of anything but sugar. I drink this neat. I won't rebuy.

No nose to speak of, and on the taste it reminds me more of a vodka than a rum. Do think it will be well suited as a mixer, but will not be sipping it neat, that’s for sure. Probably won’t buy this one again.
