Tasting at Oops Århus with Mr. S Hansen & D Jungberg. 2nd tasting with Mr. K Sørensen, tried extended time in the glass, which we do not consider advantageous, quite the opposite. An exciting glass of rum. Nose: Citrus fruit acid, red fruit. Palate: Delicious barrel sweetness, caramelized fruit, nice fine dirty aftertaste of workshop. Complex St. Lucia. Glass: Barrel sweetness and oak. Tasting Romhattens St. Lucia & The Great Rum Day Oops Århus.

This is a rum that you either hate or love. It's moving in so many directions that it's hard to keep up. I love it because it is a surprisingly good one at what it does. It's like an uncut diamond pretending to be one.

Rum tasting at Oops D. 20.06.2026 Together with F. Kraemmer. Theme - St. Lucia. Nose on an adventure👃: I sense intense fruit acidity, citrus, grapefruit, but with my nose deep in the glass, some herbs also come forward. Thyme. Tongue on an adventure 🥃: I taste caramelized nuts, caramel, sweet and wonderfully oily in the glass. The tail of the story💫: Warm, syrup hangs pleasantly for a good rum time. Super rum, complex as the aroma jumps in one direction and the actual taste in a whole other. I'm a fan!
