Unfortunately, this Botran 18 no longer has the gourmandise of my discovery of sweet, caramelized ron. It's pleasant. But it's sorely lacking in depth. At least it's not too sweet. Edit: tasted after a Rum Nation Panama and in fact it easily compares. Less sweet, more woody.

Hylla Retasting left me disappointed. Too little, too short, want more of everything. Only "punch" was a little too sharp alcohol, even at 60%

Dominierender Geruch für mich: weiches Karamell. Bitterorange, fruchtig. Genaueres Hinriechen bringt etwas Fass, vielleicht nasses Laub oder Waldboden? Im Mund dann weich, bei kleinen Schlücken sehr alkoholisch. Etwas Karamell, etwas Süße. Lecker zu trinken und nicht aufdringlich, es wirkt rund und natürlich. Allerdings weniger differenziert als der Geruch. Abgang im Grunde sehr kurz und vor allem alkoholisch, aber dann hängt ein schwaches Karamellaroma lange nach. Schön. Alles in allem relativ gefällig, leichte Süße, sehr angenehm.
