One taster called the nose "unusual and pretty awesome" — white chocolate, macaroon, real butterscotch — and that's the draw here. This is young, cask-strength Belize column rum: coconut and vanilla up front, then fresh oak, roast and light citrus. 28.11.2017 Meeting up at a friend's house each one bringing a bottle. Pretty surprised that there were 3 Cadenhead's in the pot. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Fresh, wood, roasted, light smoke, coconut, chocolate, polish, citrus. Palate Alcoholic, wood, roasted, faint smoke, citrus, polish, light caramel, coconut, light licorice, medium dry. Finish Medium to long, wood, roasted, tannins, dry, licorice. Extra note. Needs to rest for a very long time before it stops biting.

Another Cadenhead review On the nose: Coconut, vanilla. Toasted. Light citrus, light woody notes. Taste: Alcoholic. Vanilla, coconut, caramel. Toasted. Light woody notes. Finish: Light woody notes, coconut, light vanilla. Roasted. Medium finish. Too alcoholic for my liking. In overall, sweet and light notes.

A really nice Travellers. Has a lot of coconut on the nose, but also vanilla and chocolate are recognizable. On the palate then rather lightly sweetish, lots of chocolate, but also some caramel and coconut.

Still a somewhat youthful Belize rum with untamed power in the finish. The alcohol is present but not disturbing, just not fully integrated into the flavor spectrum yet. Alongside fresh oak, light roasted notes, caramel and dark chocolate, there are also fresh citrus and dried fruits. Classic Travellers profile, fresh, crisp - I like it.

Very drinkable representative from the Travellers house, alcohol is quite well embedded. You don't notice the 63.4%. A cool sipper that I hadn't paid attention to for a long time.

I like the nose a lot, white chocolate and sweet treats with macaroon and real butterscotch. Unusual and pretty awesome. The mouth is a little less memorable, flat with milk chocolate and some brash spice around the edge but it has different levels and with time uncover more and more elements that work and pop together. The finish brings expresso and spice with a young woody influence. Overall it’s an interesting and complex rum. Solid and keen to try more Travellers
