Toffee and vanilla are not found here, but lime is. The palate does not confirm the alcohol content of the nose – well integrated alcohol with very present notes of apples, pineapple and bananas. Plant and medicinal aromas are also found here. Due to the higher ester perception and the larger fruit basket, the finish is also somewhat longer. A powerful body with well integrated alcohol and yet a broad fruit aroma profile makes this rum my favorite in the cross-tasting among similar bottlings from the batch. 83 points
