Auf meiner Barbadosreise 2016 konnte ich eine kleine Flasche dieses Rums im Visitor Center in Bridgetown erstehen. Schon zum damaligen Zeitpunkt wurde der Mauby Rum nicht exportiert. Bei meiner diesjährigen Reise nach Barbados leider nicht noch einmal zu bekommen, endet der Genuss dieses Rums mit diesem Glas. Einerseits erkennt man das typisch zitrusartige Mount Gay Profil. Ungewöhnlichste eine sehr intensiven Kräuteraromen, die schon fast an einen Kräuterlikör erinnern. Daneben finden sich Töne von Bitterorangen und CocaCola. Eine Überraschung.
