Skoda 40% weaker jamaica...slightly funky but everything fades quickly

Blind tasting: huh, what do I have here in the glass? A hint of nothing is perceptible on the nose. Ok, not quite nothing, but not much! At first, so little that I can't find anything tangible – not even alcohol. After a while, with some imagination, raw sugar and pineapple appear. On the palate, not much to detect either, as the rum was diluted to death and, in my opinion, spent too little time in the cask or was in an almost completely inactive cask. In short: it's flat but not spritzy. Still, I guess the rum comes from a pot still because in some moments (when I could perceive something) I found Guyanese and/or Jamaican "clues." If Guyana, then probably Enmore/Versailles style, and if Jamaica, then Long Pond, but most likely I'm clueless and groping in the dark here. I guess about ~43% and very young age-wise. The combination of being diluted to death and a hint of nothing or not much I've only encountered once recently, and that was with "The Secret Treasures Long Pond 1986" and parallels can be found here, although I don't believe this "blind" is 14 years old. 70 points.
