Anam na h-Alba Foursquare Barbados Single Cask Rum 2005
At nearly 64% this hits harder than most Foursquares — intense, oily, a bit rough around the edges neat. Give it a few drops of water and it settles into roasted coconut, cocoa and cream toffee, with orange peel and tobacco underneath. One taster caught a Jaffa Cakes vibe. Classic Barbados character, just with more muscle and no big surprises.

Last FS for today. Typical Barbados profile but with a oomph. Needs some water to tame but then a nice coconut & roasted cookie dough profile develops. A bit rough around the edges and needs time. //update: really intense experience, without water not my kind of rum

Erinnert irgendwie an Jaffa cakes!
