Ouw, this could be good. On the nose a lot of light chocolate, some vanilla, wood and minimal fruit. Pleasant sweetness to the start and fresh at the same time. In the second half, this turns completely to milk chocolate and some nut. Very pleasant wood in between. Nice medium length finish. Super round overall. 'Crowd Pleaser' is very accurate, but in the very best sense! Addendum: The more other stuff I try the better I find it. Incredibly good value for money. Addendum 1: Experienced in tasting - people actually love it 😁

Anyone who likes chocolate/chocolate pudding will definitely be happy with this. By the way, this is simply the new design of the previous Cihuatan 8. Chocolatey crowd pleaser! I like it clearly better than the Cinabrio.

Milk chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, and a certain creaminess shape the profile, making it pleasantly smooth and straightforward. You shouldn't expect great complexity or a long finish, but it still offers a lot of enjoyment for the money and a surprisingly rounded character. A clear recommendation for lovers of sweet rums.

Sweet-vanilla caramel and marshmallow notes develop on the nose. A little rougher on the palate: the alcohol initially scratches the soft impression, followed by oak, vanilla and the usual blah blah blah. Coffee and roasted aromas dominate the finish. Quite decent, but I don't need more than the sample.

To finish the "24 days of rum" calendar, I'm going to do 4-5 samples each day. This one is very toffee-in-a-glass in the nose. The notes gave way to dark chocolate, toffee and vanilla. Maybe a bit too sweet for me

Very reminiscent of rum from dominican republic. Chocolate, vanilla, cream, nougat and sweetness all the way with a little bit spiciness on the 👅. Very nice light rum with one flaw- short finish. Otherwise very nice rum for neat sipping. Also great in cocktails.

Very easy to sip. Too easy actually, missing layers, very plain bordering boring. Nothing bad though, would work when the guys come over. And yes, it has a dosage and it is sweet, but not overwhelming in any way.

Original impressions from 2018 rum calendar. Nose: **** Taste: **** Overall: **** ”Solera. Vanilj och örter.” Sample no.14 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Here we go again! Tasted this one in the 2018 calendar and that made me order a bottle. Nose is very pleasant with vanilla, toffee and chocolate. Palate is rich in sweet marzipan, creamy toffee and chocolate. Very nice!

Very round rum, aromatically dominated by vanilla, lemongrass, caramel/hazelnut. Alcohol well integrated. In the aftertaste a very milky-foam creamy cappuccino note. Nice thing, without standing out too much.

15/03/25: tasted @ Brussels Rhum Festival. I found this to be horrible stuff. Tasted overly sweet and artificial. I find it very hard to believe that no sugar was added. Definitely not my cup of tea.

An inexpensive entry-level rum. To me it seems a bit diluted, even the color is a bit pale, flavor-wise it’s not a very characterful rum either. Definitely worth trying once, I recommend it to everyone, but personally I wouldn’t buy a bottle.

The nose is quite floral. Lots of vanilla followed by cashew nuts, honey and marzipan fresh pulled from the cake. A sweet palate. Marshmallows with milk chocolate chunks and hazelnuts. There is a bitterness towards the end that reminds me of roast almonds. The finish is quite short. Melted dark chocolate and hazelnuts with a dash of nutmeg. Overall, not bad at all. I like the sweetness and the hazelnut notes. Some janky bitter notes that don't seem to work with the rest of the experience but it not too jarring.

Light chocolate, hazelnut. The rum is smooth and makes it easy to like. Not complex and no long finish. Anyone looking for something light and uncomplicated will be thrilled. I really like it, and there will always be a bottle of it in my cupboard.

A pleasant rum on the nose as well as on the palate because very vanilla and very chocolatey. You can drink it alone but since it's particularly smooth, better to enjoy your bottle solo lol. Short but very enjoyable finish. A good bottle overall!
