Most helpful positive review
A nose of walnut husk, then red fruits with cherry, glue. The first mouthfeel is sweet, very (too?) sweet. Fortunately, a hint of acidity balances the sweetness. The finish is rather long for a rum. Definitely the best Venezuelan rum I've tasted. I regret a bit the sweetness and the somewhat low ABV.

Round, old Venezuela. Comparable to the Diplomatico Single Vintages only with less dosage. Certainly one of the best you can get from Venezuela. Beautiful older style, certainly great with a cigar.

This is a unique rum as the nose is very different from the palate. The alcohol has been integrated very well and only gives you a warm hint on the palate and finish. Nice wooden burnt flavour on the palate and long finish. A bottle that is very hard to come by so if it presents itself, just get it like I did.
