Santa Teresa Gran Reserva
"Dry. But nice." sums up this young Santa Teresa from Venezuela. Expect a woody, coffee-and-caramel core with raisins and burnt sugar in the background, plus a cinnamon note one taster likened to sugary cinnamon cereal. It runs a touch sweet but stays simple, and at 40% a few felt more heat than the proof suggests. Short, slightly bitter finish.

Aggregated from 24 community reviews.
Woody, coffee-caramel everyday sipper A modest, everyday Venezuelan sipper — woody, coffee-caramel and lightly sweet. Pleasant enough neat, but simple and short, and several found it hotter than 40% should be.

Review by Decky Hicks Doughty
A subtle and soft nose. Hints of coffee, leather, some wood and a very distant fruit note. The palate is sweet and has a cinnamon quality that reminds me of sugary, cinnamon flavoured cereals paired with a coffee. The raisins are still lurking in the background. The finish is short. Keeps the coffee and raisin but fades very quickly. Not a bad rum for the price. Very much on the sweet side, would mix well.
Review by Montana
Quite a woody aroma, faint hints of caramel in the background. The taste is slightly sweeter, slight alcoholic burn, faintly bitter finish.
