A rum tasted at the German Rum Festival in Berlin at 2024. Tropical fruit, esters, pineapple and passion fruit, but on the other hand, old wood with lots of smoke and honey. Esters dominate on the palate, soon overtaken by smoky old wood and some fruit. The finish is long, marked by smoky wood.

Once again a very unusual and old rum that Emile had at the Catawiki stand. It's crazy how good the "old" stuff can taste and what quality was already possible back then. Admittedly it's not a unicorn, but much better than expected.

It's crazy that 60% were distilled so well here at the time. Top integrated, wacky herbal note and nice mouthfeel. Would I blindly guess long Pond? Very cool number! Thanks Sebastian & Dejan!

Surprisingly nice find. Besides A+ design and branding, this delivers an intense and fairly deep Jamaica profile. Brings beach vibes without being overly demanding.

Tasted at GRF 2025 Tasted at the Catawiki stand. Nice rum to try from the 1960's. Good quality rum, Esters are definitely there. Alcohol well integrated. Nothing special, but again, nice to try something of a different time period.
