I'm not sure it's aged 19 years... However, a wonderful discovery with a molasses (i.e. non-agricultural) rum. I seem to recognize Damoiseau rum ... coincidence? For me, this is a rum with a honeyed, herbaceous nose .... On the palate, I don't find the honey, but I do get a mentholated sensation and a taste of liquorice! Very little length on the palate... Short-lived pleasure, but a pleasure nonetheless.

Another extremely good representative from Bellevue 98!

Disappointing palate. Too much alcohol, too much bitterness, too much wood. All this takes up too much space. A pity, the nose was appealing.

Intense on the nose. A sweet, almost floral, fruity spiciness jumps out at you. Sweet cherry and plum, violet with vanilla and then the typical Guadeloupe artificiality in the direction of menthol polish. Very tasty. Comes across as full-bodied. Sweet and spicy. Lovage, cardamom. Sugar ear and green tea. Has that very slight menthol note again. A grassy spiciness remains in the finish. I like it very much!

Agricole that comes across as too alcoholic despite a long storage period. Certainly high quality, but not to my taste.

N quite concentrated gourmand salty orange lively freshness B wow quite dark and fresh at the same time, burnt black caramel sauced with a present finish, everywhere reminiscent of an old Guyane sauced

We are facing a rum with a high alcohol content for an agricultural rum (almost 60%). It is very strong in alcohol (especially in the nose) with a herbaceous profile, notes of liquorice (commonly present on the rums of Marie-Galante) and honey (because coming from molasses). In the mouth it is sweeter, even if the alcoholic notes do not disappear completely.the whole works rather well but I remain stuck on the too lively side of this agricultural at high degree. It lacks roundness and finesse. I took more pleasure in the 2017 Rhum Liberation Rum at 45% tasted just before.
