CDI Foursquare Barbados (Bottled for Germany) 1999
"Easy sipping" is the phrase that keeps coming up, and it fits: an 18-year Foursquare with a big wave of coconut, vanilla and milk chocolate, plus banana and a little dried fruit and oak. At 50% it's warm but never harsh, and despite the age it doesn't go too woody. A few tasters wished for a touch more complexity to push it over the top.
- Big coconut note
- Soft and warm
- Not over-oaked

Coconut-forward, easygoing aged Foursquare Most people enjoy this for its uncomplicated charm — heavy coconut, soft vanilla and chocolate over classic Barbados oak. The common note: lovely, but a bit too smooth to feel exciting.

15.03.2019 A nice relaxing evening at home enjoying some samples while watching movies. Notes. Light to medium dark colour. Nose: light, fruity, dried fruit, lihmght coconut, marzipan. Palate: light, wood, roasted, coconut, warm, cherry, light chocolate. Finish: medium long, warm, fruits, wood, roasted, light chocolate, cherry.
