CDI Foursquare Barbados (Bottled for Germany) 1999
"So much coconut" is the line that keeps coming back, and it defines this single-cask Foursquare — one taster says an intensity of coconut he hadn't found in any other. Around it sit banana, vanilla and milk chocolate, dry and only lightly sweet, with 18 years of oak that stays surprisingly restrained. Easy sipping at 50%, textbook Barbados DNA.

The look inside the bottle
How does CDI Foursquare Barbados (Bottled for Germany) 1999 taste?
Aggregated from 17 community reviews.
Coconut-heavy dry Foursquare, easy 18-year sipper Well-liked as an unfussy, coconut-forward Foursquare. The recurring quibble: a few wish it had more kick or complexity to match the age, but most find it very easy to sip.

15.03.2019 A nice relaxing evening at home enjoying some samples while watching movies. Notes. Light to medium dark colour. Nose: light, fruity, dried fruit, lihmght coconut, marzipan. Palate: light, wood, roasted, coconut, warm, cherry, light chocolate. Finish: medium long, warm, fruits, wood, roasted, light chocolate, cherry.
