A light Barbados rum, whose nose opens with typical notes (caramel, vanilla, spices and fruits, especially coconut) that are not very exuberant. Very smooth on the palate, with notes of caramel, coconut, orange zest and sweet spices. The moderately long finish offers earthier notes with tobacco and a hint of smoke, overtaken by wood, caramel and chocolate. A smooth rum, designed to take you beyond the Hispanic profile without straying too far from it.

Sehr runder Rum. An der Nase nicht besonders, erst nach einer Weile kommt etwas Frucht hervor. Am Gaumen süß, geht runter wie Butter. Karamellisierte Früchte bleiben. Insgesamt sehr gefällig, sicher ein guter Einsteiger. Brauche ich persönlich aber nicht unbedingt.

Rimelig mild i næsen. Tropisk frugter, kryderi og en smule flora. En smule spids alkohol også. Frugter og kryder start efter fulgt af en kakao præget fad af slutning. Bestemt et fint glas. Dog uden den store dybe og nuancer.

Leider durch die Dosage viel zu süß für mich. Keinerlei Ecken und Kanten. Für Einsteiger aber ein sehr süffiger Rum. Vanille, Orange, Kokosnuss. Meins ist es leider nicht, aber vielleicht gut zu einer Nachspeise.

Bottle Market Bremen October 2024. The first rum of the day, a very nice rum nation Barbados. Has a nice fruity nose, coconut stands out. On the palate also fruit (coconut) and some sweetness.

Retasting at Romdeluxe. Had a relaxing online tasting yesterday and it had a vide spread between low and high end rums. This is definitely a rum good for beginners.
