Day 15 in the Christmas calendar. Blind! Very special. A sweet wine finish was obvious, similar to Marsala, the rest not... Nose: fruity-floral with honey and pear. Also slightly tropical fruits with orange or mandarin. Some spicy notes with vanilla and very light wood in the background. Palate: You can taste the sweet wine cask finish. Grape and pear, somewhat like fruit brandy. Slightly sharp, salty, a hint of licorice. But also slightly fruity, floral with honey. Unfortunately, the finish dominates. Jamaica or WP is actually not recognizable... but the alcohol is well integrated.

Reminds me of the Hemden overproof although it is a Worthy Park. It is a bit sweeter and rounder on the finish but has the same roasted aromas.

Actually quite tasty but a bit flat overall. No finish present. It simply lacks power.
