#5480 13.07.2025 Pre-dinner set with the guys and we decided for a set of unaged rums. Nose Bold, fruity, berries, light pineapple, spice, sweet, light ester. Palate Oily, fresh, fruity, light ester, naturally sweet, light citrus, spice, berries. Finish Medium to long, fresh, oily, fruity, spice, faint chocolate. Empty glass Chocolate, light caramel, strawberry, spice. Needs to rest for a bit to really open up. Surprisingly light on the nose considering the ester level. Price to quality is really good. Thanks goes out to Petter for getting hands on this sample.

Retasting. A bit special but nicely fruity and funky. In my opinion well suited for Daiquiris and for just 30 euros not overpriced. There is also a version aged 3 years for 35 euros. I like to use that as an affordable alternative in Mai Tai.

Super fruity and sweet. Foreground strawberries and raspberries. Then comes the grilled pineapple. Despite 57% and high esters, it is very easy to drink.

I find this rum very successful. Comes very close to my favorites from the Caribbean. Really tastes like a good Agricole rum. So far the best I've been served from the Schollenberger house :)

Incredibly good price-performance high ester white blend! 🇯🇲🔥 I'm especially thrilled by the raspberry note with a bit of nutmeg. Very nicely blended and above all, despite >1000 esters, it doesn't need much time to breathe💥 In a daiquiri, you also get subtle coconut water and strawberry! That shows how insanely complex esters can be, simply outstanding and super exciting!🍓🥥🇯🇲
