A medicinal, almost iodine-tincture note on the nose is the first thing that catches people off guard here. Underneath it runs a proper agricole: fresh sugarcane, hay, chamomile flowers and a green cucumber-skin edge, with a whisper of anise. The palate is silky and rounded — several tasters swear it drinks closer to 40% than 52%. Elegant and grassy, and it makes a lovely Ti Punch.

On the nose it is shy, sugarcane, vegetal and slightly floral(chamomile)/earthy/citrusy hints are discernible. The palate is light, silky and retains the initial shyness, then gradually opens up to slightly peppery, other earthy and floral(hay and chamomile) notes that propagate even in the delicate finish where a fresh, cucumber-scented(anise/medicinal) tip emerges. It is extremely round, seems to have 40°, but has less character than other La Favorite whites. In the empty glass grass, loam, flowers.

Absolutely solid and extremely elegant Agricole. Very floral and green, almost reminiscent of cucumber peel and fresh hay, as well as chamomile flowers!Makes a really very elegant and quaffable Ti Punch.

This one was a huge surprise and the price to quality is very good. The nose is very fresh and floral with fruits, sugarcane and a light medicinal note. A true Agricole nose and not for beginners in my mind. The palate is velvety and well balanced. Again very fresh and floral with fruits, anise, sugarcane and a touch of grass. The finish is medium to long with sugarcane and vegetal notes and a hint of medicinal notes.

In der Nase Jodtinktur. Im Geschmack ganz anders und für mich eher Agricole untypische Banane. Nach dem Abgang ist man definitiv gesund, metallisch-medizinische Kamillemischung. Im Ti-Punch wird die Jodtinktur in der Nase noch verstärkt und auch die seidige Konsistenz im Geschmack wird noch samtiger.
