Sip this one neat — it's a relaxed, easygoing 18-year Jamaican from Long Pond, bottled by Maison Ferrand. Expect ripe tropical fruit (mango, banana, pineapple), light wood, caramel and a touch of vanilla, with just a faint smoke and ginger edge. Several tasters call it a fine "easy sipper," though a couple find the body a bit thin and watery for a pot still this old.

10.07.2020 A nice tasting meeting new and old friends. Notes Medium dark in colour, light wood, faint smoke, banana, overripe, source, light nutts, prunes. Palate Warm, light roasted wood, banana, ginger, light caramel, dried fruit, light anise, faint orange. Finish Medium long, wood, fruity, warm, orange, spice, faint chocolate and caramel.
