This one finished off a nice evening and it was yet another nice surprise. I know they make good rums in Nicaragua, but sometimes you just get surprised by the quality, even if it has had a finish added. This one is fruity with nice spices, some chocolate and roasted wood. I love the caramel and nuts in there. Draws. Really nice curtains in the glass!

Despite 60% cask strength, it feels a bit thin and watered down. Flavor-wise very intense with pipe tobacco, tree resin, nutmeg and juniper, very unusual and somehow not my thing. A bit of cocoa and caramel and lots of wood of course and overall very dry but I don't really warm up to it.
