Une très belle surprise. Nez parfait équilibre entre épicé, fruit et bois. Un peu poivré, une note de cacao fumé. Bouche équilibré, gourmandise. Toujours le fruit confit, le poivre, une touche caramélisé un peu de moka. Final très longue pour le degré, sur le bois et le chêne.

Thinking about the price you get a good deal here. Very well rounded and intense rum. In order to release its full flavours you need to rest this rum for at least 15 minutes and I fond that it was best after 30 minutes. The oak is taking the front seat here without being too dominant.

Un Montebello un peu sombre mais très intéressant, du bois, un peu sec, du sucre brûlé, des fruits séchés, une belle rondeur, une longueur sympathique, il offre un joli moment sans être un monstre de complexité.
