Excellent nose - dark, toasty and intense. Great roastiness and pleasant sweetness on the palate. A bit wild on the palate. Only the finish is unfortunately too thin.

Auf den Punkt gebracht: flüssiges scharfes Kräuterbonbon. Ausführlicher: Kräuter, grüne Noten und Eukalyptus, unangenehme scharfe Note, hinten raus noch etwas Süße (vermutlich vom Fass). Das Ganze ist wenig komplex, sondern einfach nur kräutrig und scharf.

Verkostet zusammen mit paar anderen Agricoles aus Martinique. Alle fast eine Stunde im Glas atmen lassen. An der Nase etwas Frucht, am Gaumen überwiegen Gras und Gewürze. Sehr angenehner Agricole. Auch hier könnten paar Prozente mehr auch paar Punkte mehr einbringen.

Decent rhum

On a le floral et fruité qui dominent avec en filigrane un bois fin qui vient structurer le tout. De la pomme, fruits a noyaux (prune/pruneau) avec quelques épices (muscade et canelle) et de la noisette donnent un bon équilibre entre le côté gourmand et la fraîcheur (fleurs blanches/cerisier avec une note subtile de menthol qui perdure sur la longeur). Aucune agressivité de l'alcool. Un rhum très glouglou qui donne envie d'y revenir et qui procure bcp de plaisir.

Le nez est sur les fruits tropicaux extravagants qui viennent magnifier un fond vanillé-caramélisé ! Au second plan, on retrouve des épices et plus particulièrement du poivré. C’est doux mais attractif sur la cerise. En bouche, c’est rond, élégant, léger, fin et très équilibré. Les fruits (cerise-pomme-poire) mènent la danse et des notes de moka et de poivre les accompagnent. La finale est douce, subtile et longue sur les épices avec une pointe de menthol. Certains diront qu’il est un peu plat, qu’il manque de puissance!? Oui c’est vrai, mais c’est bon et gourmand.
