Wahnsinns Abfüllung! Der für mich mit Abstand beste 94er Velier Caroni... Gummi Teer und alles Dreckige, was man bei Caroni erwartet. Dennoch alles rund eingebunden. Zusätzlich findet man tolle Fruch/Holz und Gewürz Noten.

High viscosity, beautiful red gold. Wonderful polish and varnish notes, burnt sugar, spice. Tar, rubber and petrol, followed by overripe mango. Powerful, perfectly melted. Hammer nose. Then really cool in the mouth!!! Oily, full-bodied. Sweetness! Great spice, polish, etc. Awesome!!! 😁😁😁😁 Like the mouth and nose better than the straw hat. It can't deny its relationship to the 23 Guyana Stock either. Very complex without anything standing out. Of course not an easy sipper, every drop needs to be savored. The quintessence of a Caroni. Hammer.

#4446 03.11.2023 got some nice samples from a friend and though small they're still really good. This one is even better than the previous one. Light to medium fruity with nice spices. More oily in the palate and a nice smoky touch. Finish is very long and warm with light caramel.

Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: he 94 vintage is in top form here, the typical dirty Caroni aromas full of rubber and tar meet bone dry wood, smokiness, dark spices and a touch of sweetness and fruitiness. At home on the extremely dry side and therefore what for HTR purists. Great cinema.

In the nose, the High Proof is in front. on the palate you are rewarded with a real flavor explosion. Horny!

Another lovely Caroni. All the classic aromas we get with those dirty Caronis are there. In addition there’s a light sweetness present in the mouth. HTR goodness 🥰 Thank you for the sample Jakob.

Im Vergleich mit den anderen 94ern kommt mir dieser einen Hauch alkoholischer vor und hat dadurch etwas mehr Schärfe. Immernoch ein großer Rum, aber eben nicht die absolute Spitzenklasse für mich. Die alkoholische Schärfe zieht sich durch den ganzen Rum. Wer es etwas kräftiger mag, wie bei den meisten Employees, wird hier auf seine Kosten kommen. Habe am Ende wieder Schwarzteenoten und etwas Bitterschokolade.

Un premier nez assez faible pour un Caroni Velier, de la pomme, de la carambole et d’autres fruits mais aussi beaucoup de notes d’atelier mécanique. Un début de bouche assez léger, il faut, comme au nez, presque aller chercher les arômes. Puis ils investissent la place et tout rentre dans l’ordre. Les notes empyreumatiques ; goudron, caoutchouc, fumée dominent ici. La finale avec tous les arômes n’est pas très longue, même si les notes d’atelier mécanique/fumée persistent très longtemps. Un rhum un peu décevant même s’il possède de très beaux arômes, l’atelier mécanique est ici un peu trop dominant.
