23.05.2020 Crazy tasting with lots of participants and a few friends. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light, light wood, flora, vanilla, spice, dried fruit, light earthy, light leather, faint chocolate, cinnamon. Palate Light, sweet, light wood, spice, dried fruit, light caramel, vanilla, light tobacco. Finish Short to medium, sweet, light wood, dried fruit, caramel, faint chocolate, spice.

Very sweet and fruity. Caramel is very present. At the same time also quite spicy, some vanilla. Quite back and forth at the end but the sweetness wins.Tasted together with Blauroter soft cheese = Jägerschnitzel

Taste profile is actually very good, me unfortunately just a little too thin. But that's probably what it should be here. A well accessible, light, not boring, honest rum.insofar mission accomplished. It tastes good. Honest!

An interesting earthy nose. Soil, roasted nuts and vanilla. Something similar to rubber cement in the background. The palate has a little sweetness but this is rounded by bitter coffee and tobacco notes. The finish is quite short but has a nice coffee sweeter with honey note. Overall not bad. More interesting than I usually find Puerto Rican rum.

Pretty understated. Perhaps even too much. Pepper and caramel. Some campfire on the end when you breathe. Golden pour. Spicy finish. On flight at Casta's in DC.
