Velier Caroni Trilogy Heavy Rum Trinidad Stock HTR 1996
Sip this neat and give it time — people say it opens up after an hour of breathing. Classic Caroni: leather, tobacco, tar and engine-room diesel, with a surprising mint note and oily texture several tasters keep coming back to. At over 70%, the alcohol sits shockingly well-integrated, and the leather-and-oak finish lingers for minutes. One reviewer summed it up as "a gas station in the middle of the jungle."
- Endless finish
- Well-hidden ABV
- Mint and leather

It's one of the most impressive Caroni I've met. Very pure, the distillery character is in the glass... I am in love 😍! The rum reveals itself after 1hr of breathing. It's heavy, the alcohol is super well integrated, a lot of natural sweetness, oily, some dried fruits and the amazing feeling of being in a gas station in the middle of a jungle... A masterpiece by Caroni ! This bottle is on its own the perfect definition of what Caroni means to rum.
