C.A.D.C Rum Artesanal Venezuela Rum 2007
Most tasters land in the same happy place here: dark chocolate, blackberry and cassis, forest and honey, with a resinous pine-and-herb thread running through nose, palate and finish. One reviewer calls it "one of the best Venezuela rums" they've had. The 59.8% is mostly well tucked in, though a few find the alcohol bites and suggest a splash of water.

simply an absolute grenade. Mega deliciously intense after cocoa, espresso, blackberries, cassis, acacia honey and tree resin and a little grapefruit peel in the finish... For me, this is still one of the best Venezuelan rums on the market. Especially at this RRP, this was an absolutely fantastic rum.

As if a spruce branch was stored in rum. Again and again this spruce branch in the nose and in the mouth.

Brilliant rum! Similar to the Venezuela rum from Asta Morris, but this one from RA has an additional resinous herbal note that accompanies the nose, mouth and finish. Complex and harmonious rum: roasted chocolate, blackberry, forest aromas and honey. Strong presence in the mouth, which should be tamed somewhat with the addition of water. The price for 0.5 l is also good, so a solid overall package.

An overall very coherent easy sipper. The storage in the cognac barrel comes in the nose, as well as in the taste definitely to the fore and that in my opinion positively.Together with the very pleasant oily sweetness it reminds me strongly of chocolates that are filled with cognac. The body, however, is rather medium to light and the alcohol is very present in taste. For almost 60%, however, the whole is quite well integratedSuper PLV, you can really say nothing

Rum aus Venezuela. Hab dir Flasche irgendwann mal gekauft weil preislich top.

A very tasty, intense and complex rum, which unfortunately comes across a bit spicy. The many flavors fight with the dominant alcohol, which could be a little better integrated. Maybe here actually times a dilution helps something.
